ARTIFACT: This is a Japanese-made patch for the United States Navy's USS Henry Clay SSBN-625, a ballistic missile submarine. The patch is circular and shows a missile headed skyward above a globe and a pair of fish. The patch reads PRESERVATIO AB NATIO USS HENRY CLAY SSBN 625.

VINTAGE: Circa 1960s.

SIZE: 5 diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Fully embroidered patch with multi-colored silk/polyester/cotton threads.

ATTACHMENT: N/A.

MARKINGS: Original label attached: ACE NOVELTY BOX 1374 TOKYO JAPAN.
