ARTIFACT:
This is a hardcover copy of "Hell's Corner 1940: Kent Becomes the Battlefield of Britain" by H.R.P. Boorman with its original dust jacket. The book conveys the devastation of the months-long Battle of Britain through text as well as black and white photographs. The book was published in 1942 by Kent Publishing. This copy is inscribed on the inside cover from Eugene Martin ("Blackie") Moran and Rory to their Mum and Dad: "A souvenir of "The Garden of England 1939/1945". With Fondest love, Rory and "Blackie", Loose, July 1945."

Circa 1942 (World War II).
SIZE:
128 pages including black and white photographs: approximately 5-1/4" in width by 7-1/2" in height and 7/16" in thickness.

Paper dust jacket, blue cloth cover, paper.
