ARTIFACT: This is a great World War II plaque bearing the Disney-designed insignia of the United States Navy Air and Sea Rescue Squadron 1 (VH-1). The plaque is hand-painted and shows Dumbo the Elephant flying with a hard hat, spyglass and a net.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: About 7" in diameter and 3/16" in thickness.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Hand-painted wood.

ATTACHMENT: None.
