ARTIFACT: Circa 1967-68 Trans East Airlines Captain's hat badge. The airline started as Statewide Airlines in 1964, changed name in 1967, ceased flight operations in 1968, and was out of business by 1972. The airline flew between New York City and Manchester, NH. The badge reads "TE" in black and red enamel.

VINTAGE: Circa 1967-68.

SIZE: Approximately 2" in height and 1-5/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gilt brass, enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Single screw post with disc backing, stabilization post.

MARKINGS: None.
