ARTIFACT: This is a Stunning 1980's Hopi Silver Overlay & Coral, Ivory, Lapis, Ironwood, & Black Web Gem Turquoise Cuff Bracelet by Eddie Scott Kohtalawva. 

Eddie Scott Kohtalawva is from the same clan as Charles Loloma, a master of Indian jewelry, and so Eddie inherited Loloma's innovative inlay work, which was not seen in Hopi jewelry at the time, even though he was a Hopi. He continues to create pieces with unique designs that combine overlay work and inlay work.

Eddie Scott Kohtalawva: Born August 11,1947, Tuba City, Arizona
He began working as a Hopi jeweler in 1976, and won several ribbons at the Gallup Inter Tribe Arts & Crafts Show and the Santa Fe Indian Market in the 1980s.

VINTAGE: 1980s.

SIZE: Approximately: 1" in height x 5-5/8" in length. Opening: 1-1/4" wide. Tatal size Arm fit to 6-7/8" + length.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Hopi silver & Coral, Ivory, Lapis, Ironwood, & Black Web Gem Turquoise.
