ARTIFACT: This is a handmade World War II sweetheart brooch with the Great Seal at its center. The edge of the oval brooch is notched and it bears a serial number on reverse.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Medallion: approximately 2" in height and 2-5/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Plated brass/aluminum.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with come-under locking swivel catch.

MARKINGS: WENDELL AUGUST FORGE, INC. ART IRON 190.

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The brooch shows only some light abrasions and very small spots of oxidation.
