ARTIFACT: Great WWII United States Army Air Forces Sweetheart Pin. Large, stylized bomb in mother of pearl and gilt brass USAAF insignia in the center. Sweetheart pin is still in its original box.

VINTAGE: Circa WWII

SIZE: Approximately Pin: 2 1/8" x 5 /8"; Box: 3 1/8" x 2 3/8"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Mother of pearl, gilt brass, adhesive

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with drop in swivel locking catch.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a USAAF Sweetheart collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MBEX10 LHEX4/15 SHEX7/16

CONDITION: 9- (Excellent+): Pin shows minor to wear, mother of pearl is lovely and in wonderful condition, original box shows light wear to corners only.
