ARTIFACT: Great WWII Homefront War Worker large celluloid pin. The center shows a worker standing with an American flag behind him and the outer ring reads: "WE'RE THE MAN BEHIND THE GUN". The reverse shows a nice paper label that reads: "WHITEHEAD & HOAG CO. BUTTONS, BADGES, NOVELTIES, AND SIGNS NEWARK, N.J." and also displays a union stamp.

VINTAGE: Circa WWII

SIZE: Approximately: 1-3/4" in diameter

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Celluloid, paper, steel

ATTACHMENT: Straight pin

ITEM NOTES: This is from a Homefront War Worker collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MBJX16 LFJX3/16

CONDITION: 7- (Very Fine-): The celluloid pin shows moderate to heavy wear, sadly it is foxed at the edges, but still very presentable, reverse paper label shows discoloration and remains fully intact.
