ARTIFACT: This is a World War II (or possible earlier) United States Navy Chief Petty Officer (CPO) hat badge. The badge is a golden anchor with “USN" across it in silver, accompanied by a low rope loop.

VINTAGE: Circa WWI

SIZE: Appr: 1-5/8"x 1"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gilt and Silvered Brass

ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin with over-under catch

MARKINGS: "USN"
