ARTIFACT: This is a great circa 1900 "Old West" Douglas County, Colorado deputy sheriff 5-point star badge. The badge has a Denver maker mark on reverse.

VINTAGE: Circa 1900.

SIZE: About 1-7/8" height and 1-7/8" width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Nickel-plated brass with black painted lettering.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical safety-style pin.

MARKINGS: KAUFFMAN MAKER DENVER.
