ARTIFACT: What we have here is a Great Old West circa 1900's "Stock" Deputy Sheriff 6-point Star Badge by Irvine & Jachens. 

VINTAGE: Circa 1900's.

SIZE: Approximately 2-3/8" in height x 2-1/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Stamped nickel with mostly intact (!!) jeweler's black in the lettering and embellishment.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical safety-style pin with rectangular saddle.

MARKINGS: IRVINE & JACHENS SF
