ARTIFACT: This is a Great Old West 1870's - 1880's Deputy Sheriff Circle Cut Out Star Shield Badge with Hand Stamped Lettering. Observe has a nice old polished yellow surface, Reverse is dark & Grungy. 

VINTAGE: 1870s - 1880s.

SIZE: Approximately 2-3/16" in height x 1-13/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Nickel-plated nickel with Hand Stamped and painted Lettering.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical kick pin with tongue-type 'C' catch.

MARKINGS: N/A.

CONDITION: 8+ (Excellent): The badge shows observe has a nice old polished yellow surface, and reverse is dark & grungy. Overall, it is in excellent condition.
