ARTIFACT: This is a Great Old West circa 1870's - 1880's "Stock" Constable Shield Shape Badge. The term CONSTABLE is on a handsome diagonal across the badge, with large embellishments above and below. The badge is nicely dapped with a deep convex appearance. A great looking old badge! 

VINTAGE: Circa 1870s - 1880s.

SIZE: Approximately 2-1/8" in height x 1-3/4" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Nickel plated nickel with painted lettering and embellishments.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical one-piece pin with open catch.

MARKINGS: N/A.

CONDITION: 7+(Very Fine- ):The badge shows mild to moderate surface wear and black painted letter is largely worn away, overall very fine condition.
