ARTIFACT: This is a Great Old Circa 1908 Spotswood New Jersey Police Chief Badge LARGE. Probably First Issue.

VINTAGE: Circa 1908.

SIZE: Approximately 2-13/16" in height x 1-3/4" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gilt Brass, most of gilding was polished off During period of use.

ATTACHMENT: Great period of use replacement of original open C catch with an old necklace Locking Clasp!

MARKINGS: N/A.

ITEM NOTES:  This is from a police and law enforcement Badge collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VHJM18 LEGEX06/07/21 SEGEX07/28/22

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent): The badge shows minor to moderate wear, and tarnish on back. Overall great patina.
