ARTIFACT: This is a great old circa 1920s "stock" private detective six-point star badge by Irvine & Jachens of San Francisco, California. This badge has a lot going on: engraved stars, curclicues and an all-seeing "eye" at its center.

VINTAGE: Circa 1920s.

SIZE: Approximately 2" in height and 1-3/4" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Plated brass.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical safety-style pin.

MARKINGS: Irvine & Jachens 1068 Mission St. S.F.
