ARTIFACT: This is a Great Old 1910's Alameda County California Special Deputy Sheriff Badge Hand Stamped Heard Fired Blue enamel Lettering.

Original "Modified" T Pin and unusual Early design drop-in Locking Catch. Like a Modified Forked catch. Lacquered at some point during the period of use to maintain " polish" of Bronze Badge.

VINTAGE: 1910s.

SIZE: Approximately 2-3/16" in height and 1-3/4" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Braonze, Hand Stamped Heard-Fired Blue enamel Lettering.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical T pin with modified forked locking catch.

MARKINGS: N/A.
