ARTIFACT: This is a Great Old 1890's Montgomery County Texas Deputy Sheriff Badge. Hand Stamped with Hand Engraved embellishments. There are 18 Montgomery Counties in the US, But this came, along with the Galveston County Badge,  from on Old Texas Lawman Badge Collection as being from Texas, So we are placing it in Texas.

VINTAGE: 1890s.

SIZE: Approximately 1-15/16" in height x 1-13/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Hand Stamped Nickel with Hand Engraved embellishments, painted lettering.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin with tang-style 'C' catch.

MARKINGS: N/A.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a Texas police and law enforcement collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MAJCX21 LAFGEX05/17/21 SAFGEX04/14/23

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent): The badge shows moderate wear, and nice patina on reverse.
