ARTIFACT: This is a wonderful early World War II US Navy M-422A size 44 flight jacket. The jacket has all original material with nothing removed or re-done. It was made by Gordon & Ferguson Co. and has been marked as belonging to Lieutenant E. A. Reed.

VINTAGE: Circa early WWII.

SIZE: Size 44.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Leather, fur, rayon, wool, brass.

ATTACHMENT: To be worn while in the cockpit.

MARKINGS: "JACKETS, INTERMEDIATE BUAERO.-U.S. NAVY SPECIFICATION M-422A GORDON & FERGUSON CO. CONTRACT NO. NOS 416-A. 44. LT. E. A. REED."

ITEM NOTES: This is from a US Navy collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MFJJ16 LACIEX03/17 SACIEX06/20/21

CONDITION: 8+ (Excellent): All of the original materials are in excellent condition. Light wear and the cuffs of the sleeves are a little bit mothed.
