ARTIFACT:
Great circa 1923 Monarch Breakfast Cocoa lithographed tin. The center depicts a lion's head and surrounding it reads: "OUR HIGHEST QUALITY TRADE MARK REGISTERED" and "MONARCH COCOA REID, MURDOCH & CO. ESTABLISHED 1853 CHCAGO, ILL. U.S.A.". Along the top it reads: "BREAKFAST", "NET WEIGHT 16 OUNCES" and the bottom of each side features a different city name: "BOSTON", "LOS ANGELES", "PITTSBURGH", and "NEW YORK".
VINTAGE:
Circa 1923.
SIZE:
Approximately 6" in height x 3" in width x 3-1/8" in width.
