ARTIFACT: Great circa 1944 Š 1945 United States Army Military Police Investigator badge for Western European Sector (WES). The shield shaped badge shows an eagle perched on top and below the badge reads: "MILITARY POLICE W. E. S. INVESTIGATION".

VINTAGE: Circa 1944 Š 1945

SIZE: Approximately 2 _" x 1 _"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Nickel plated brass

ATTACHMENT: Vertical steel pin with 'C' catch

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a military police and law enforcement collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. CON-RHS-25-15 LEGEX6/15 SEGEX9/15

CONDITION: 6+ (Fine&emdash;Very Fine): The badge shows moderate to heavy wear and oxidation and the pin shows minor corrosion.
