ARTIFACT: Great circa 1900 - 1910 Portsmouth, New Hampshire fire department celluloid badge of Chief Engineer John D. Randall. The center of the badge shows a photo of Chief Randall in uniform, at the top crossed fire horns and below a scroll that reads: "CHIEF ENGINEER JOHN D. RANDALL PORTSMOUTH, N. H."

VINTAGE: Circa 1900 - 1910.

SIZE: Approximately 1-3/4" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Celluloid, steel, paper.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical straight pin.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a fire fighting and rescue collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VEJX3/15 CON-RLB-16 LABJX4/16 SABJX01/18

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine - Excellent): The badge shows minor to moderate surface wear, the paper backing remains fully intact, overall excellent condition.
