ARTIFACT:
What we have here is a Great, Iconic, WWI United States Air Service Pilot Wing by Robbins in Sterling and 14K gold. The wing has a "Been There" look with moderate, but not displeasing, overall wear to the obverse. This Iconic WWI USAS Junior Military Aviator Wing has been immortalized by General Claire Chennault of Flying Tigers fame, as it is the same design as worn in 1918 by then-Lieutenant Chennault in his USAS Graduation Photograph.
