ARTIFACT: Great 1963 "Welcome Aircraft Gordon Cooper Back to Earth" celluloid and rayon parade ribbon. The face of the button depicts the face of Gordon Cooper and the date May 15-16,1963 and the ribbon reads 'ASTRONAUT Gordon Cooper WELCOME BACK TO EARTH IN FAITH 7 - 22 ORBITS AROUND THE WORLD MAY 15, 1963.

VINTAGE: 1963.

SIZE: Approximately: Celluloid Badge 1-3/4" in diameter. Ribbon: 4" in height x 2" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Celluloid and rayon.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin.

MARKINGS: N/A.

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent-)): The celluloid badge shows minor wear, and ribbon lettering is fading. Overall, it is in excellent condition.
