ARTIFACT: This is a Great 1960's - 1970's Philadelphia Pennsylvania Fire Department Commissioner Helmet Plate in Excellent Condition.

VINTAGE: 1960s-1970s.

SIZE: Approximately: 6-5/16" in height x 5-3/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Badge: Gold-plated brass with painted lettering. / Helmet Plate: Leather painted, and sewn with real stitching, and then sealed with a water resistant clear finish.

ATTACHMENT: Badge: Single screw post with disc backing. Helmet Plate: Brass hanger.

MARKINGS: N/A.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a fire and rescue collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MEJV17 LEGEX02/12/24 SEGEX03/01/24

CONDITION: 9 (Excellent - Near Mint): The helmet plate and badge shows almost no wear.
