ARTIFACT: Great 1930's - 1940's sterling cowboy trophy buckle by Keyston Bros. of San Francisco, California. The ornate and intricately detailed belt buckle features a raised, five point star with a gold filled horse's head embellishment in the center. The reverse shows a maker's mark that reads: "KEYSTON BROS. S.F. CALIF. STERLING 1/10 14K"

VINTAGE: Circa 1930's - 1940's

SIZE: Approximately 3-1/2" x 2-1/4"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Engraved, stamped, sterling, gold-fill

ATTACHMENT: Bar and hinged prong

MARKINGS: "KEYSTON BROS. S.F. CALIF. STERLING 1/10 14K", "PAT APPL'D FOR"

ITEM NOTES: This is from a western collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAEJX16 LCHEX1/16 SLEGEX01/23/22

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The buckle shows minor to moderate wear, some of the gold fill details remains intact, overall very fine condition.
