Great 1921 United States Marine Corps Officer photo of Captain Hugh Shippey, Aide to the General. Great collar insignia and EGA. The bottom of the photo features a stamp that reads: "THOMAS W. McPHERSON PHOTOGRAPHER SAN FRANCISCO, CAL.". The reverse of the photo reads: "HUGH SHIPPEY CAPTAIN, 1 DECEMBER 1921 (DATE TAKEN)" in typewritten ink, the center shows a purple colored ink that reads: "MAR. CORPS RECTG. BUREAU BROOKLYN, N.Y." with "#2437" just beneath in pencil, and the bottom shows an ink stamp that reads: "HEADQUARTERS DEPARTMENT OF THE PACIFIC REC'D DEC 27 1921 SAN FRANCISCO, CAL."
