ARTIFACT: Great 1920's - 1930's Adams County, Colorado Deputy Sheriff badge named to H.E. Jobes. The center of the badge is slightly convex and features a brass disc showing State Seal of Colorado in nice, intricate detail. Surrounding the center the badge reads: "DEPUTY SHERIFF ADAMS COUNTY" in blackened, stamped lettering. The top of the badge features an eagle, wings spread and head bowed carrying a banner or scroll in its beak that reads: "H. E. JOBES".
These badges came out of an old collection put together by a collector from Kansas, now deceased. As the bulk of his collection was Kansas and Colorado, it can be safely assumed that these badges were indeed worn in the Old West of their particular vintage, although I do not know exactly where any were used or collected.

VINTAGE: Circa 1920's - 1930' s

SIZE: Approximately 2-3/4" in height x 1-3/4" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Brass, plated nickel, painted details.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a police and law enforcement collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MBJJX15 LDIEX12/15 SDIEX09/19

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The badge shows mild to moderate surface wear, much of the plating and painted details remain intact, great patina and wear.
