ARTIFACT: Great 1918 dated United States Army Model 1917 Bolo knife by Plumb in St. Louis. This example was re-issued in early WWII and is in excellent condition. The knife features a wood grip, steel pommel, and blade. The sheath is canvas wrapped and leather tipped, the tip reads: "A-KCO. 1918 P.H.So 1942" and the canvas shows "C-4333" inked on the reverse. The top of the sheath features a steel hook for wear on belt.

VINTAGE: Circa 1918

SIZE: Approximately 16" in total length; Grip: 4-3/8" x 1-1/2"; Pommel: 1-3/4" x 1"; Guard: 3-5/8" x 7/8"; Blade: 10-2/8" x 2-1/8"; Sheath: 11-2/8" x 1-3/4"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Steel, wood, canvas, leather, ink, pencil

ATTACHMENT: Sheath with hook for belt attachment
