ARTIFACT:
This is a great photograph of United States Marine Corps 1st Sergeant Alfred Dickenson on board the USS Des Moines in Naples, Italy on April 24, 1916. The back of the photo lists all of Dickenson's previous ranks and duties while on the ship, including seaman, gunner, and torpedoman.
VINTAGE:
Circa 1916.
SIZE:
Approximately 5-3/4" in height and 3-11/16" in width.
