ARTIFACT: This is a great circa 1910s or 1920s taxi driver badge from Concord, New Hampshire, the capital city of the Granite State. The oval badge was made by S.G. Adams Company of St. Louis and has a wonderful maker mark on the saddle. It is numbered 163 on the front.

VINTAGE: Circa 1910s-1920s.

SIZE: Approximately 1-3/8" in height and 2-1/4" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Plated brass.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal safety-style pin with saddle.

MARKINGS: 163 on front; S.G. ADAMS CO. ST. LOUIS on saddle.
