ARTIFACT: This is a Great 1900 United States Census Enumerator Badge in Die Stamped Nickel. The badge designed eagle perched on top of a shield with a flag pattern on it. The census that took place on June 1, 1900 was the nation's twelfth, and determined the United States' population to be 76,212,168. It is a comparatively very important census since much of 1890 census was damaged in a fire. 

VINTAGE: 1900.

SIZE: Approximately: 1-11/16" in height x 1-3/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Die Stamped Nickel.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical safety-style pin.

MARKINGS: N/A.
