ARTIFACT: Great 1890's New England Telephone & Telegraph Company Inspector Badge in enameled, nickel-plated brass. The oval badge reads: "NEW ENGLAND TELEPHONE & TELEGRAPH CO. INSPECTOR 5711"

VINTAGE: Circa 1890's

SIZE: Approximately 2 ??" x 2"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Enameled, nickel-plated brass.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal 't' style pin with 'c' style catch (locking catch is damaged).

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a communications collection which we will be releasing over the next few months. ebay CON-DMB-25-15 LEGEX1/15

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): Badge shows moderate wear, locking catch is damaged, nearly all the enamel and plating details remain intact.
