Great 1890's Improved Order of Red Men celluloid pin by Whitehead & Hoag Co. Newark, N.J. The Pepsin Gum promotional giveaway shows an image of an axe with a stylized American Indian head opposite the blade end, the blade reads: "TOTE" and the top of the pin reads: "IMPROVED ORDER OF RED MEN". The reverse of the giveaway shows a wonderful paper label with little to no age wear and reads: "AMERICAN PEPSIN GUM CO. BUTTONS MADE BY THE WHITEHEAD & HOAG CO. NEWARK, N. J. PATENT JULY 17 '94 APRIL 14 '94 JULY 21, 1896"
