ARTIFACT: This is a wonderful circa 1880s or 1890s fireman's grave marker, most likely from the Worcester (Massachusetts) Fireman's Relief Association (WFRA). The marker is in cast iron and shows a high-eagle helmet at the very top.

VINTAGE: Circa 1880s-1890s.

SIZE: Approximately 21-1/2" in height (about 1" of spike is missing) and 6" in width and about 5/16" in thickness.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Cast iron.

ATTACHMENT: Spike.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a fire-related collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VFEX10 LAGEX1/13

CONDITION: 6- (Fine): The marker has some areas of medium wear; about 1" of spike is missing.
