ARTIFACT: Great 1880's - 1890's Old West Deputy Sheriff 6 point star shaped badge by Kansas City Missouri maker, Allen Stamp & Seal Co. The badge reads: "DEPUTY SHERIFF" in HAND STAMPED black painted lettering and shows a nice embellishment in the center. The reverse reads: "ALLEN STAMP & SEAL CO. KANSAS CITY".

VINTAGE: Circa 1900.

SIZE: Approximately 2-1/8" x 2-1/8".

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Nickeled nickel, black paint.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical safety style pin with 'C' type catch.

MARKINGS: "ALLEN STAMP & SEAL CO. KANSAS CITY"

CONDITION: 8+ (Excellent): The badge shows minor wear, much of the plated and painted details remain intact, overall excellent condition.
