ARTIFACT: This is a gorgeous Model 1937 Polish Air Force Pilot's Dagger by G. Borowski. It has a beautiful floral pattern on the blade, along with the Polish Eagle emblem. The text on the blade reads "Honor i Ojczyzna," which translated roughly to "Honor and Fatherland." The tip of the blade is very sharp and well kept, and the edges show no chips. It appears to have been unsheathed very few times.

VINTAGE: Circa 1937.

SIZE: Dagger approximately 13-1/2" long, 3" wide, ½" height

Sheath approximately 10" long, 1" wide, 1/2" height

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Steel and leather.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: "HONOR I OJCZYZNA. G. BOROWSKI."

ITEM NOTES: This is from a Polish Militaria collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MGJJM16 LAGGEX03/17 SAEJJX02/19

CONDITION: 9- (Excellent+): The blade is in exquisite condition, no chips whatsoever. It was most likely unsheathed on very rare occasions. There is light wear on the outside of the sheath and hilt.

GUARANTEE: As with all my artifacts, this piece is guaranteed to be original, as described.
