ARTIFACT: This is a Gorgeous, First Issue, Circa 1917's Connecticut Department of  Motor Vehicles Inspector Badge. 1st Connecticut State Agency to enforce M.V. Laws. CT State Police, Mortor Vehicles Dept existance since 1903, Took over M.V. Law Enforcement in the early 1920's. Extremely Rare.

VINTAGE: Circa 1917's

SIZE: Approximately 1-9/16" diameter

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gold-filled, enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with drop in locking catch.

MARKINGS: W.H.WAKELEY DIEGES & CLUST GOLDFILLED
