ARTIFACT: This is a gorgeous New Jersey State Exempt Firemen's Association Life Member Badge. It is an enameled and engraved badge in rolled gold. This circa 1920's badge depicts a golden cart with a bird perched atop it in the center circle. The maker's mark on the reverse reads, "C.D. REESE NEW YORK."

VINTAGE: Circa 1920's.

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/4" x 1-1/4.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Enameled & Engraved rolled gold.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin with drop-in locking swivel catch.

MARKINGS: Obverse: "THE N.J. STATE EXEMPT FIREMEN'S ASSN. LIFE MEMBER Reverse: "C.D. REESE NEW YORK."

ITEM NOTES: This is from a Fireman Badge collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MDZI12 LBDEX01/17 SBDEX06/19

CONDITION: 8+ (Excellent): Little to light wear. The enamel is in excellent shape, but some of the gold on the outer edges has worn down.
