ARTIFACT: Gorgeous 1890's League of American Wheelman (L. A. W.), New York state division member lapel pin by O'Hara Watch Dial Company. The round, enameled lapel pin shows a spoked wheel with a blue faceted stone in the center and three lovely detailed wings stemming from the center of a wheel surrounded by the letters: "L A W". The outer edge reads: "NEW YORK STATE DIVISION". The reverse features a maker's mark that reads: "O'HARA DIAL CO. WALTHAM, MASS."

VINTAGE: Circa 1890

SIZE: Approximately 5/8" in diameter

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Enameled brass, with gilt embellishments

ATTACHMENT: Single post with stabilizer pin and screwback

MARKINGS: "O'HARA DIAL CO. WALTHAM, MASS."

ITEM NOTES: This is from a sports and bicycling collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MEV16 LABEX3/16

CONDITION: 8+ (Excellent): The lapel pin shows minor wear, the stabilizer pin is slightly bent, nearly all the enamel details remain intact, overall excellent condition.
