ARTIFACT: This is a circa early 1950s Lincoln-Mercury registered mechanic lapel pin by the L. G. Balfour Company. The pin is gold-filled and shows the head of Mercury and a crest encircled by a blue enamel border.

VINTAGE: Circa early 1950s.

SIZE: Approximately 9/16" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gold-filled, enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Single screw post with disc backing.

MARKINGS: 1/10 10K GF on reverse of pin; L. G. BALFOUR CO. on backing.

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The pin shows only minor wear and light tarnish.
