ARTIFACT: This is a French made shoulder patch for the United States Army engineers at Camp Pontanezen in Brest, France. The patch is a red circle and shows a diagonal white ladder at center.

VINTAGE: Circa World War I.

SIZE: 2-1/2" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Felt patch embroidered in white silk piping.

ATTACHMENT: To be sewn onto a uniform.

MARKINGS: N/A.

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent-): Patch shows light wear and has retained its wonderful cherry red hue.
