ARTIFACT:
This is a great reunion sign for the AVG’s Annual Reunion which was held in conjunction with the CNAC (China National Aviation Corporation) Reunion annually from the 1950’s through to last year (CNAC inclusion mostly 60’s-70’s). This particular sign dates from the 1964 reunion in Hong Kong, hence the Chinese Characters. It is a large painted plywood sign (1/8” thick) cut out in a Chinese motif. The Chinese characters at top read:

Artifacts that belonged to members of the original Flying Tigers are extremely hard to acquire and rarely come up for sale.
