ARTIFACT: This is a fabulous, huge Flying Tiger Line flight suit back patch from the early 1950s. Flying Tiger Line began in 1945 as the first commercial air cargo company in the US and later became military charter outfit until 1989. The patch is edged and lettered in red and shows the nose of a plane with an eye and an open mouth with sharp teeth.

VINTAGE: Circa early 1950's.

SIZE: Approximately 6" in height and 10-7/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Twill embroidered in silk/cotton threads.

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): Patch has light to medium wear with very small spots of light discoloration.
