It is entitles "The Album 1943, 442nd Combat Team" (Atlanta: Albert Love Enterprises, 1943), and was produced by the men of the 442nd at Camp Shelby, Mississippi. Activated on January 28, 1943, the 442nd was a Japanese-American group hailing mostly from Hawaii, a state that easily raised almost seven times its volunteer quota. The frontspiece of the album shows a crest with a riverboat symbolizing Mississippi and the team's motto: GO FOR BROKE.
