ARTIFACT: This is an extremely rare Norton-Harjes Ambulance Corps hat badge. The badge reads AMERICAN RED CROSS and shows a red cross at center.

VINTAGE: Circa World War I.

SIZE: 1-3/16" diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gold-plated brass with enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Two brass pins which go through holes and bend into place.

MARKINGS: N/A.

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): Badge has medium wear and a wonderful coloration.
