ARTIFACT: Extremely rare early WWI Norton-Harjes Ambulance Corps hat badge. The red, white, and blue enameled gilt brass badge depicts a red cross in the white center, around which reads: "AMERICAN RED CROSS".

VINTAGE: Circa WWI

SIZE: Approximately 1-3/16" diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Enameled gilt brass

ATTACHMENT: None, prongs missing.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a medical and humanitarian collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MAJV15 LDGEX4/15

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): Badge shows moderate to heavy wear, prongs are missing, nearly all the gilt and enamel details remain intact.
