ARTIFACT: This is an Extremely Rare Circa 1918 Curtiss Flying School Lapel Pin for a Graduate or an Instructor. The Curtiss Flying School was started by Glenn Curtiss to compete against the Wright Flying School l of the Wright Brothers. The first school was located in San Diego, California.

VINTAGE: Circa 1918.

SIZE: About 1"in length x 1/4" in height.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Enameled & gilt brass.

ATTACHMENT: Screwback.

MARKINGS: Marking inside Screwback.
