ARTIFACT: Extremely rare and beautiful WWI United States Air Service Pilot wing by Tiffany & Co. in sterling silver and 14 karat gold. The center depicts a US Shield with nicely detailed stars along the top and bars below with the letters: "US" atop in gold with intricately detailed feather wings on either side. The reverse shows a maker's mark that reads: "TIFFANY & CO. MAKERS STERLING".

VINTAGE: Circa WWI

SIZE: Approximately 2-15/16" x 11/16"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Sterling silver, 14k gold

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with drop in locking Tiffany catch.

MARKINGS: "TIFFANY & CO. MAKERS STERLING".

CONDITION: 8+ (Excellent): The wing shows minor wear, gorgeous patina, overall excellent condition.
