ARTIFACT: This is an extremely rare World War I Balloon Pilot's (or Aeronaut's) wing made in thick bullion on wool. The wing has an air balloon sewn into it and was removed from the uniform.

VINTAGE: Circa WWI.

SIZE: Approximately 1" in height x 3" in length.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Bullion embroidery on Wool.

ATTACHMENT: To be sewn onto a uniform.

MARKINGS: None

ITEM NOTES: This is from an Air Force Wing collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAEJJX5/07 CON-RLB-17 LCBGE03/17 SCJJJX04/15/23

CONDITION: 9- (Excellent +): The wing is beautiful, with only very light wear.
