ARTIFACT: This is an extremely rare circa 1928-1929 service or lapel pin for Universal Air Lines System, a company that flew between many major Midwestern cities in the late 1920s. The pin in sterling silver and has a great Art Deco logo of an armless man with a pair of sleek wings upon his slightly arched back.

VINTAGE: Circa 1928-1929.

SIZE: Approximately 3/16" x 1-1/8"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Sterling silver with enamel, brass backing.

ATTACHMENT: Single screw post with disc backing.

MARKINGS: STERLING.

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): The pin shows some moderate wear and tarnish; all enamel is intact.
